Meet Heather Witiluk

Heather is a Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker, and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Therapist serving clients in-person in Thunder Bay, virtually across Ontario.

Heather is a trauma-informed Therapist who has over 17 years of experience providing counselling to individuals and families who have been struggling with health related anxiety and depression.

Heather completed her Master of Social Work degree at Lakehead University, and is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Prior to opening her own practice, Heather worked in a the health care field as a Hospital Social Worker on the Hospice and Palliative Care Unit.

Heather also has experience working with the indigenous population working in remote fly-in communities in Northwestern Ontario and Labrador and is a registered provider with Non Insured Health Benefits (NIHB).

Heather has her PMH-C certification through Postpartum Support International to provide specialized services to women who are struggling with infertility, perinatal mood disorders, the adoption process, and infant loss. She also has extensive experience in palliative care, grief and loss of a loved one, and helping those overcome health-related anxiety and depression.

Heather operates from a client centred, strengths based, and solution focused perspective that incorporates aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused counselling, and emotion focused therapy. Heather draws on EMDR and hypnotherapy as well as drawing on Gottman and EFT approach in couples counselling.

Meet Andrew Cecon

Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker

Andrew is a warm, compassionate, and client-centered registered Social Worker/Psychotherapist who brings over a decade of experience in the mental health field.

Andrew holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) and offers support to individuals navigating addiction, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

Andrew’s approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in respect for each client’s lived experience. He has a particular interest in supporting postpartum fathers - an often-overlooked group in perinatal mental health. Andrew offers a supportive space for dads adjusting to parenthood, identity shifts, and changes in relationships, helping them feel more confident and connected through this unique life stage.

Andrew is also passionate about working with addiction, and he brings skill and care to his work with couples. He is trained in both the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), tailoring sessions to the needs of each couple with a focus on connection and communication.

His therapeutic work is rooted in evidence-based practices, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, DBT, Polyvagal Theory, and somatic approaches. Clients appreciate Andrew’s calm presence, practical strategies, and ability to create a safe, non-judgmental environment.

Outside of his work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family and is actively involved in theatre and acting.

Registered Psychotherapist

Jessica is a Registered Psychotherapist, and is ready to help you navigate grief, fertility challenges, or postpartum transitions that can feel incredibly isolating. Jessica offers a warm, empathetic space to support you through these deeply personal seasons of life.

With a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Jessica brings both professional training and heartfelt compassion to her work. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and attachment theory.

Jessica has a special interest in supporting individuals through grief and loss, fertility struggles, and the emotional complexities of the postpartum period. She understands how tender these experiences can be and honours each client’s unique story with care and respect.
