Meet Ashley Pelletier

With over 11 years of counselling experience, Ashley offers a warm, gentle space
where you can feel truly heard and supported.

Ashley believes that therapy works best when it is built on a foundation of mutual respect, trust and empathy, in a space where you feel safe enough to be entirely yourself – free from judgment, pressure and the need to have everything figured out.

Ashley has a Master of Social Work degree, a Psychology degree and is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Ashley has numerous additional certifications, including Eye Movement and Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)
and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), among many others. Ashley works collaboratively with individuals to identify their unique needs, goals and strengths and draws on her professional expertise to help ensure that counselling is not only supportive, but also effective.

With clinical counselling experience at a community-counselling agency and within a mental health treatment program, Ashley has provided counselling across all areas of mental health care. Ashley holds a specific passion for supporting women, appreciating that postpartum and motherhood journeys are full of tremendously life-altering, tender and complex transitions. Ashley has years of experience assisting individuals with processing and resolving trauma. She appreciates that sometimes trauma experiences can be obvious, and other times they may be subtler – difficult experiences that may have shaped the way that we feel about ourselves and changed how we interact with the world around us.

Regardless of your reasons for seeking counselling, Ashley will meet you where you are at, with a deep respect for your story and strengths. With a collaborative and warm approach, Ashley can assist you to realize your own capacity for healing, growth and self-understanding.
